If you don’t want to do a full factory reset, you can also choose to reset just your preferences or just your network settings.

  • To reset your preferences, go to the Home menu and select Settings.
  • Scroll down to the Reset Preferences option and select it.
  • You’ll be prompted to enter a code; the code is 0000.
  • Once you’ve entered the code.
  • Confirm that you want to reset your preferences and then wait for the process to complete.

To reset your network settings.

  • Go to the Home menu and select Settings.
  • Scroll down to the Network option and select it.
  • Select Reset Connection and then confirm that you want to reset your connection settings.
  • Wait for the process to complete and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Wi-Fi again.

Last way

  • This will reset the TV and it should start up normally.

If you’re having trouble with your TCL Roku TV, try one of these four ways to reset it. Factory resetting your TV is a good way to start from scratch, but you can also just reset your preferences or your network settings if you don’t want to erase everything. If all else fails, unplugging the TV for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in should do the trick.
